By visiting this Website the customer/visitor (“You”and “Your”) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. If You do not agree please do not Use or access Our Site. 

By accepting the Privacy Policy, You expressly consent to Our Use and disclosure of Your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is effective upon registration of accounts for new registering Users, and is otherwise effective on March 1st, 2013. 

Information We Collect

Our primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide You with a safe, smooth, efficient, and customized experience. We only collect personal information about You that We consider necessary for achieving this purpose.

If You choose to subscribe to Our Services, We may require You to provide contact and identity information, billing information, shipping information and other personal information. Where possible, We indicate which fields are required and which fields are optional.

  • supply to you services that you purchase;
  • send to you statements and invoices;

If You establish a credit account with Us to pay the fees We charge, We collect some additional information, such as a billing address, a credit card number and a credit card expiration date and tracking information from checks or money orders.

Our Use of Your Information

We use Your personal information to facilitate the services You request. We Use Your personal information in the file We maintain about You to: troubleshoot problems; collect fees owed, inform You about online and offline offers, services and updates; customize Your experience; detect and protect Us against error, fraud and other criminal activity, and enforce Our User Agreement.

Without limiting the above, in an effort to respect Your privacy and Our ability to keep the community free from bad actors, We will not otherwise disclose Your personal information to law enforcement or other government officials without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when We believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to: prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss; or report suspected illegal activity.

Due to the existing regulatory environment, We cannot ensure that all of Your private communications and other personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), We may be forced to disclose personal information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.

You agree that We and Our service providers can, subject to applicable law, Use and share any of this information to: (a) provide the Services to You; (b) assist emergency service providers, or others, as reasonably needed; (c) communicate with You about Your account and collect payment; (d) check or maintain Your Device ; (e) help support Your end Use, i.e., fleet management, of the Services; (f) develop new products and services and improve existing ones; (g) enforce this Agreement; (h) prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the Services; (i) comply with legal requirements, including valid court orders and subpoenas; or (j) protect the rights, property, or safety of You or others. You also agree that We and Our service providers can, subject to applicable law, Use this information: (a) to conduct market research; (b) to determine Your eligibility for and offer You new or additional products and services that may be of interest to You; (c) to send You important product and service-related communications; and (d) to troubleshoot and improve the Services.

Control of Your Password

You are responsible for all actions taken with Your User ID and password, including fees charged to Your account. Therefore We do not recommend that You disclose Your password to any third parties. If You choose to share Your User ID and password or Your personal information with third parties, You are responsible for all actions taken with Your account and therefore You should review that third party’s privacy policy. If You lose control of Your password, You may lose substantial control over Your personal and account information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on Your behalf. Therefore, if Your password has been compromised for any reason, You should immediately change Your password.

Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Personal Information

We offer You the ability to automatically review and change the information You submit to Us by logging into the Site and entering in the new information Yourself. Generally, We will not modify Your personal information based on Your request because it is very difficult to authenticate Your account manually. You should promptly update Your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate.

Opting-Out

Upon Your request, We will deactivate Your account, contact information, billing information, shipping information, and financial information from Our active databases. To make this request, email support@inventuretrack.com. Such information will be deactivated as soon as reasonably possible based on Your account activity and in accordance with Our deactivation policy and applicable law.

We will retain in Our files some personal information You have requested to remove to prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce Our User Agreement and comply with legal requirements as is permitted by law. Therefore, You should not expect that all of Your personal information will be completely removed from Our databases in response to Your requests.

Security

This site has stringent security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under Our control.  We Use state-of-the-art technology to protect and secure Your transactional information from unauthorized third parties. We Use industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect Your data and secure Your transactions. SSL encrypts all Your personal information, including Your credit card number, name and address as it is transmitted over the Internet. Our secure server is also protected by firewall technology to prevent unauthorized access to any information that We store.

We guarantee secure transactions; protecting Our customers’ information is of utmost concern to Us. Every employee servicing Our site is made aware of and is expected to comply with all of Our Privacy & Security Policies.

Credit Card Fraud Protection

We employ various Credit Card Fraud Prevention Services, provided by Our Online Merchant Processor, in order to insure purchases made from Our website are not fraudulent. When You transmit credit card information to complete a purchase or verify data, We always transmit that credit card number in an encrypted format (SSL) to prevent unauthorized transactions.

Federal Law states that Your credit card provider cannot hold You liable for more than $50 of any fraudulent charge. In the event of an unauthorized Use of Your credit card, You must report this problem immediately to Your credit card provider in accordance with its terms of Use.

A Special Note About Children

Children (persons under the age of 18) are not eligible to Use the Services unsupervised and We ask that children do not submit any personal information to Us. If You are under the age of 18, You may only Use this Site in conjunction with and under the supervision of Your parents or guardians.

Our tracking devices may not be used to violate the privacy rights of others, or in violation of local, county, state or federal statutes. GPS tracking may be illegal in certain states. In no way will InventureTrack Systems or its subsidiaries or partners be held responsible for inappropriate Use of these products.

IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER TO CONSULT LEGAL COUNSEL FOR THE INTERPRETATION OF ANY LAWS APPLICABLE TO THE AREA OF INTENDED USE OF THESE PRODUCTS.

Acceptable Use Policy

Overview

The purpose of this policy is to establish acceptable and unacceptable use of electronic Devices and network resources for InventureTrack Systems, LLC (herein referred to as InventureTrack or ITS) in conjunction with its established culture of ethical and lawful behavior, openness, trust, and integrity.

InventureTrack Systems, LLC provides computer devices, networks, and other electronic information systems to meet missions, goals, and initiatives and must manage them responsibly to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information assets. This policy requires the users of information assets to comply with company policies and protects the company against damaging legal issues.

Scope

All employees, contractors, consultants, temporary and other workers at InventureTrack, including all personnel affiliated with third parties must adhere to this policy. This policy applies to information assets owned or leased by InventureTrack, or to Devices that connect to an InventureTrack network or reside at InventureTrack’s site.

Definitions

  • “Honeypot” and/or “Honeynet” means network decoys that serve to distract attackers from valuable machines on a network. The decoys provide an early warning for intrusion detection and detailed information on vulnerabilities.
  • “Spam” means electronic junk mail or junk newsgroup postings. Messages that are unsolicited, unwanted, and irrelevant.
  • “Device” and “Devices” means computer devices, networks, and other electronic information systems
  • “We,” “Our,” or “Us” means InventureTrack
  • “You,” “Yourself,” and “Your” means visitors to and users of InventureTrack website and users of Devices

Policy Statement

General Requirements

  • You are responsible for exercising good judgment regarding appropriate use of InventureTrack resources in accordance with InventureTrack policies, standards, and guidelines. InventureTrack resources may not be used for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.
  • For security, compliance, and maintenance purposes, authorized personnel may monitor and audit equipment, systems, and network traffic per the Audit Policy. Devices that interfere with other Devices or users on the InventureTrack network may be disconnected. Information Security prohibits actively blocking authorized audit scans. Firewalls and other blocking technologies must permit access to the scan sources.

System Accounts

  • You are responsible for the security of data, accounts, and systems under Your control. Keep passwords secure and do not share account or password information with anyone, including other personnel, family, or friends. Providing access to another individual, either deliberately or through failure to secure its access, is a violation of this policy.
  • You must maintain system-level and user-level passwords in accordance with the Password Policy.

Fair Usage Policy

We may apply limits to your usage of any service We provide, for various reasons. These may include: if Your use of our services is not appropriate or fair, if it affects (or may affect) other users’ enjoyment of the service, or if it is significantly different from the usage that We would expect from a customer. If We think any of these to be true, You should be aware that this could result in us imposing limits of your access to the services; and the following:

Reasonable charges for use of Our telecom service outside of any download and/or upload limits on Our broadband service. This could include, but is not limited to, any circumstances where You are running an application or program that places excessive bandwidth demands on the broadband service for continued periods. We may, at any time and at our sole discretion, amend this limit, apply charges when You exceed this limit and/or impose a further limit on Your usage capacity if it is affecting or may affect other users’ enjoyment of the service.

If the circumstances occur under which We could impose a limit on your use of our services, We may at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your ability to access the services. We will not do so without Your prior notice and will only do so if it is reasonable in all the circumstances. We will always endeavor to act fairly and reasonably when exercising our discretion in relation to the services We provide.

  1. Prohibited Network Use

You are responsible for the security and appropriate use of InventureTrack network resources under Your control. Using InventureTrack resources for the following is strictly prohibited:

  • Causing a security breach to either InventureTrack or other network resources, including, but not limited to, accessing data, servers, or accounts to which you are not authorized; circumventing user authentication on any Device; or sniffing network traffic.
  • Causing a disruption of service to either InventureTrack or other network resources, including, but not limited to, ICMP floods, packet spoofing, denial of service, heap or buffer overflows, and forged routing information for malicious purposes.
  • Introducing honeypots, honeynets, or similar technology on the InventureTrack network.
  • Violating copyright law, including, but not limited to, illegally duplicating or transmitting copyrighted pictures, text, and software.
  • Exporting or importing software, technical information, encryption software, or technology in violation of international or regional export control laws.
  • Intentionally introducing malicious code, including, but not limited to, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, e-mail bombs, spyware, adware, and keyloggers.

Electronic Communications

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Forging, misrepresenting, obscuring, suppressing, or replacing a user identity on any electronic communication to mislead the recipient about the sender.

General Requirements

You must not use this Website for anything that is unlawful or is prohibited by this Usage Policy and/or any notices elsewhere on this website.  We will try to ensure that the information We provide on this website is true, accurate and complete. However, We are not in any way responsible if it is not. You should exercise no lesser degree of caution in appraising what You see on this website than You should do offline.  When using this website, You must not do any of the following: (a) delete any author attributions, legal notices or proprietary designations or labels in any file that is uploaded and/or (b) falsify the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded.
